3. Bring Some Essentials
You don’t want to get to your new home and realize that all of the essentials you’ll need right away are lost in the many cardboard boxes sitting in the hallway. You’ll want those items to be accessible from the moment that you arrive.
Here are some essentials that you should put in your new address ahead of moving day:
- Put toilet paper, soap, towels and other important toiletries in the bathrooms.
- Put some non-perishable food and bottled water in the cupboards.
- Stash some clothes in the closet.
