The match between Corbin and Moss also made history when both men struggled hard to get the sword from the table of Adam Pearce, but they ended up lashed by Drew McIntyre. He singlehandedly threw both of them out of the ring and got his sword Angela back.
Ridge Holland defeated Cesaro through a pinfall.
The ending was as dramatic as the match itself because near the end, the ribs of Cesaro’s body were injured and could not survive a power slam from Holland. However, there was a slight delay once the ribs were hurt as a result of a Shillelagh from Holland. Before the official beginning of the match, the ribs of the wrestler were fixed by a trainer present on the floor.
Naomi defeated Shayna Bazler.
This match was too dramatic because Naomi defeated her opponent once she tried to pin Naomi for submission but ended up getting a quick rollup resulting in her defeat and a victory for Naomi, also a long-lasting one.
New Day defeated Usos.
Since both of the teams were well acquainted with each other and history, therefore this match became one of the most anticipated matches of the Friday evening. The match ended with a defeat for the Usos. But as decided, both teams will ace each other for a SmackDown Tag team title on the Day 1 event of the new year. The Usos were in the end consoled by the WWE world champion, Roman Reigns.
