Packing your kit bag
The great thing about boxing training is it’s not expensive and you don’t need a lot of equipment. There are a few things you should have in your bag for night one and you can pick these up online for not a lot of money.
To get the best out of your training you don’t want to overdress or wear too many layers of clothes. A t-shirt, shorts and running shoes are ideal. Then you should have hand wraps or bandages and these will protect you against injuries to your wrists and knuckles while punching the bags.
Failure to wrap your hands properly could see you suffer a small cut that won’t heal in a hurry if you continue to train. You should buy your own gloves for hygiene reasons. The likes of skipping ropes, a gumshield and boxing boots are optional.
